This 1-day workshop introduces teachers to the educational opportunities provided by the Outdoor Wonders center at Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge. Teachers engage in example activities facilitated by experienced park educators, demonstrating ways to engage school children of all grade levels in field-based learning experiences across the curriculum.

Our goal is to empower teachers to bring their students to the refuge during the school year. Participating teachers will receive related classroom resources and will connect online pre- and post-workshop to share implementation strategies.

None! A grant to Trempealeau provides workshop registration, materials, sub costs, and payment for one Continuing Education Unit (1 CEU) through UW Extension.
