College Ready in Writing Symposium

This symposium is intended to give high school English teachers and college writing teachers a chance to discuss concerns, common practices, and shared goals. Panelists from area high schools, college writing programs, and writing centers will kick off conversations regarding planning, practice, and assessments. We will delve into the questions that we have as educators and share ideas about teaching and learning.

Panel discussions will alternate with small group discussions and breakout sessions around the symposium topics. This symposium is targeted for anyone (K-16) who is interested in discussing what it means to prepare children for college.

Registration is $65 for individuals and includes lunch.
Participants who are part of the Writing Across the Curriculum ā€‹symposia receive a $10 discount.

Get involved. Prepare your students. Sign up today!
