UOnline: Designing and sustaining an online ecosystem for teacher professional learning
Education Outreach & Partnerships office on behalf of the School of Education is launching a new distance education initiative: UOnline. The design, implementation, and evaluation of UOnline will create a School of Education virtual-learning, interactive environment specifically aimed at meeting the challenges and needs of PK-16 practitioners. The Education Outreach Partnerships staff has worked collaboratively with School of Education faculty, staff, and graduate students in order to provide practitioners a variety of options, including credit and non-credit offerings. Courses may be offered as synchronous, asynchronous, or in blended models. The first set of UOnline courses launched during the summer of 2011.
