An Introduction to Differentiation
Introduction to Differentiated Instruction is a three credit course designed to give K-12 teachers (and other school personnel) an overview of the theory and research behind differentiated instruction and present them with classroom instructional strategies designed to respond to the varying needs of students. Participants will engage in various learning activities through which they will learn and implement teaching strategies designed to individualize learning activities to take advantage of each student’s strengths, interests, and readiness.
