Second Annual Latino Youth Summit
Two days of cultural exploration and courses to prepare Latino youth for the college experience.

The Latino Youth Summit: On My Way to College provides a new model for delivery of services to underrepresented youth: a culturally relevant curriculum planned and implemented by culturally competent instructors.
Summit Goals
Build: partnerships across academic preparation programs, community organizations and institutions of higher education to ensure a seamless support system for Latino students as they move from one level of education to another
Develop: academic and social support services that facilitate the matriculation of students into higher education
Coordinate: a cadre of culturally proficient instructors and a cultural relevant curriculum to aid students’ adjustment to high school and college
Disseminate: information to parents and families on how to prepare for the college experience and to ensure a continuum of services in preparation for high school and college
Key Benefits
