To acknowledge the outstanding achievements of its Ph.D. and MFA graduates, the School of Education will host a special recognition ceremony prior to the university's official Commencement program.
Family and friends of the graduates are encouraged to attend this complimentary event.
During the hooding ceremony, graduates will come forward to be recognized and their faculty escort will assist in bestowing their hood.
The full schedule is as follows:
3:30–5:00 p.m. - Reception at the Nicholas-Johnson Pavilion (adjacent to Kohl Center)
3:45 p.m. - All graduates must be present with their regalia, including cap,
gown & hood
4:00 p.m. - Program, featuring graduate recognition and hooding ceremony
5:00 p.m. - Graduates and guests depart for the Kohl Center
5:30 p.m. - Commencement convocation begins at the Kohl Center
