We seek bold, innovative sustainable partnerships that result in improvements in teaching and learning. The EOP team envisions partnerships as a two way interaction with communities and other external constituencies utilizing the development, exchange, and application of knowledge, information, and expertise for mutual benefit.

EOP College-Readiness Symposia Series

Math Symposium-3

This year EOP is excited to offer a series of symposia across the 2018-2019 academic year to engage educators in dialogue across grade level and institutional boundaries. We welcome members of the K-12 and higher education community to join in panel discussions, breakout sessions, and targeted planning around providing positive outcomes for students as they make their way through our educational system.

College Readiness in Writing (January 31, 2019)
College Readiness in Science (March 14, 2019)
Writing across the Curriculum (October 19, 2017 and April 12, 2018)
College Readiness in Math (November 29, 2018)

Education Outreach and Partnerships has an experienced staff of project managers and event planners to handle all of the behind the scenes logistics to ensure that your event is a success!

Ready to get started? Complete this Event Information Form and email it to conferences@education.wisc.edu. Our team will respond to your inquiry within 2 business days.

Services we provide include (but are not limited to): 

  • Research potential event venues
  • Secure event venue and communicate with venue re: setup, A/V, catering, etc.
  • Place deposit to secure event space
  • Set up and maintain customizable online registration system
  • Payment processing (credit card, check, or ACH transfer)
  • Set up and maintain event website
  • Market event to EOP database of professional educators
  • Create and maintain detailed budget projection
  • Set up and maintain presentation proposals
  • Set up and maintain program and/or scholarship applications
  • Assist with making travel and lodging arrangements for presenters and/or attendees
  • Process e-reimbursements for UW employees and/or invited guests
  • Collect paperwork and process stipends
  • Work with Purchasing office to process contracts
  • Create program and/or printed materials
  • Create day of event materials such as folders, nametags, certificates, etc. 
  • Act as point of contact for attendees to answer questions in months leading up to the event
  • Act as point of contact for presenters to answer questions in months leading up to the event
  • Set up and maintain an online space to host electronic materials
  • Provide on-site and remote support as needed throughout event
  • Track and pay event expenses
  • Set up CEUs through UW-Extension
  • Explore offering an associated graduate level course through UW-Madison
